ALL GIRLS CLASS: The Business and Computer Education Department is taking aim at the computer science gender gap and announces the offering of an ALL GIRLS class in Computer Science I for the 2012/13 school year. There is a tremendous amount of opportunity in the field of technology for women as educational institutions and employers actively seek qualified women to join their ranks. The curriculum will be designed to appeal to female students as it seeks to motivate with relative lessons aligned to student interest. The goals of this course are to get female students excited about technology, provide some great learning experiences and give students a leg up in collegiate and employment endeavors.
