On November 19th 1,037 students from northeastern Massachusetts auditioned for the Northeast Senior District Music Festival. Within the throngs of outstanding student musicians there were 52 students from Masconomet. After a grueling and very competitive audition process 17 students from Masconomet made the cut and were selected to perform in the District Music Festival concert on Saturday January 7th. These students have achieved success at an extremely high level and in an extraordinarily competitive endeavor.- Michelle Beaulieu (10)** jazz ensemble, alto saxophone
